Georgia O'Keeffe in the '30s: A Woman Changed
This lecture explores a pivotal but relatively unknown period in the artist's life. The talented young O'Keeffe was one of the most successful artists in America and the man most responsible for her career, Alfred Stieglitz, her husband, art dealer and photographer, became involved with another woman. This would prove to be O'Keeffe's greatest challenge yet she went to great lengths to keep it a secret.
